Bliss travel services is absolutely perfect if you’re trying to plan any sort of vacation. I worked with Heather and she was super professional and nice and was able to create goals in mind with me to make sure that I was going to have the vacation I wanted and was trying to plan. We cannot say enough good things about Heather! I originally planned an international honeymoon, but with COVID everything got cancelled. With my upcoming wedding I started getting stressed out re-planning everything. This is when I reached out to several travel agents on Thumbtack. Heather was the first to respond and I’m so glad she did! She presented us options the same day and happily adjusted them to meet our budget. What we were most impressed by was Heather’s ability to work when circumstances were constantly changing. If COVID wasn’t enough, we had a hurricane hit Cancun two days before we were supposed to arrive! Heather worked around the clock to get in contact with the resorts to make sure we’d have a place to go. We always felt at peace knowing she would take care of things for us. We got to Cancun and we didn’t love the first resort we stayed at (which wasn’t heather’s fault since we had to change our first hotel due to some of the hurricane damage). We reached out to Heather and let her know how we were feeling. She immediately went to work on getting us moved to another hotel! Speaking of moving, Heather also arranged all of our transfers for the trip. The transfer service was amazing! They were always on-time, professional, and made us feel safe. They also have an app to use just like Uber so you can see where your driver is! We’d highly recommend using the company she suggests! The second hotel we arrived at was called El Dorado Maroma. This was Heather’s original recommendation and we are so glad we took it! It was exactly what we wanted in a honeymoon spot. Relaxing, amazing views, great food, and a beautiful room with a private pool! After a couple nights we transferred to the Zoetry on the island of Isla Mujeres. They picked us up on a private boat and dropped us off at their private dock. It was such an amazing experience from the start. The resort is beautiful! The beach, food, rooms, and the views are unbeatable. What we really loved most was the staff and customer service. The resort is smaller and the staff does an amazing job of getting to know their guests. Overall, we would highly recommend Heather and Bliss Travel Services for any of your travel needs. She was extremely attentive, communicated promptly, and made quick changes when circumstances changed. She was great about checking in on us during our vacation to make sure the hotels and transfers were going smoothly. She also worked with my Fiancé to plan a birthday dinner surprise for me!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new client is to find out what they are looking for in a vacation. Once I have the basic information, I work with customers on the phone or through email. It is important for me to understand what my clients are looking for so I can make the best recommendations for their vacation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done extensive training both as a travel agent and as a cruise specialist. I have earned my C.T.A, Certified Travel Associate and my A.C.C. Accredited Cruise Counselor. I have also taken numerous other training specific to destinations and cruise lines. I am also a Certified Autism Travel Specialist. My best training has come from my personal travels to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Cancun, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, and Alaska.
