About
Three reasons: One, because we specialize in difficult removals and own our own crane, we also have it available for easy jobs too. That makes for a much faster, efficient, and thereby economical job. Two, we have done hundreds of storm removals for insurance companies and there's no teacher like repetition. And three, our employees are all drug tested eliminating the flakes and drunks so common in the tree business. Seeing the amazement on customers faces when we remove a tree, from incredibly tight quarters, without so much as touching their house or landscape. Also, my tree/shrub pruner is an old soul who has pruned many thousands over 40 years. He just has the Michelangelo, innate eye for beauty. The thrill his artistic pruning brings to customers is magical.

Though I was fortunate not to have suffered more storm damage, facing the immense yard debris and tree removal from my family home was challenging, emotional and I felt a lot of anxiety. Two hundred plus foot trees had fallen into neighbors' yard causing potential damage. I had three more 100 foot plus trees dangerously split or uprooted. I'd received contradictory information about procedures and liability. In the process of getting quotes from tree removal services, I was meeting providers who weren’t local and therefore I couldn't get local references - and - being inexperienced- it was hard to gauge who would do a great job and what was reasonable pricing. As I saw the tree removal and clean up in action and got to know the team of Dale, Brock, Simon, and the crane operator, I was so happy to have chosen American Tree Service/Crane Your Tree. I appreciated the team's willingness to answer (all!) my questions, their attention to detail, the immense care with which everyone addressed the issues, the communication between team members, and the clear respect the team has for the trees and for preserving as much of the natural habitat as possible. I couldn't be there for the final day of cleanup as I had a business trip but departed knowing everything was in good hands.

They arrived on time. Good crew. Respectful of my space and neighbors as well. They cleaned up the branches and wood chips that landed in the street and in both my property and the neighbors. The neighbors had done pruning the weekend before and not cleaned up their mess in their own yard. Some of my pruning landed in their yard. Bill's crew disposed of my neighbors debris in his chipper too. The neighbors were thrilled, as was I.

wow Bill gave a reasonable estimate to take down three hemlocks and a huge fire with a lot of tops. When his crew arrived it was a well organized and safe operation. Its a pleasure to see how he managed the crew with respect and kindness. All personnel reflected the professionalism he exudes. The job was done in about four hours and when the crew left there was no sign that they ever where there. Not a spec of debris to be found. Will use his services in the future and recommend him highly . Thanks for a job exceptionally well done. Mike RIchter

Bill had his small crew come in to take care of some really overgrown shrubs that were attempting to overthrow my house. They made quick work of that and a few trees I wanted trimmed down. Very professional, friendly, and flexible. I would happily rehire and recommend this company to anyone seeking phenomenal results with a professional approach.

They did a nice, tidy job, including identifying additional dead limbs that needed removal and a tree that will need to come out.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We always quote a flat price, not an hourly rate, so that owners always know exactly what they are responsible for before we start. There are just too many possibilities for hard feelings otherwise.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We typically do tree removals, oft times multiple trees. Our chipper is the largest mobile chipper in the state, capable of chipping an 18 inch diameter tree. This translates to enormous efficiency. Instead of wrestling with each singular branch, we can winch in entire moderately sized trees or big tree tops into the chipper intact, making for quick work and reasonable prices.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Root fungus: It's a very serious hazard that is the primary cause of trees failing in a windstorm. Learn how to evaluate warning signs and remain vigilant about checking your trees, just like checking the oil in your car. A big tree can not only damage you house, falling trees kill Washingtonians every year.
