Nick has completely replaced the old flooring in our 1924 home. All the old floors were removed to the joists. They replaced the subflooring, leveled all the surfaces and installed new LVP. The result is extraordinary. They planned the work so that less than 5% of the material was surplused. They arrived on time every day and were very diligent to get the floors perfect for us. I will use their services again and i am in the process of bidding a new job with them.

I had Nick’s Hardwood redo about 1,100 square feet of flooring in my basement, and I want to give them a shout-out. First off, they were super flexible and easy to work with. I had a bunch of moving pieces and timing issues on my end, and they were very patient while we figured out scheduling. I really appreciated the patience and understanding while the various pieces fell into place. Once we got going, they were very quick and efficient. They pulled out the old carpet in a day, re-leveled the floors with concrete, and got the new flooring in pretty fast. The whole thing took about five to six days, including drying time, and the floors look fantastic. The team was professional and friendly the whole way through. There were a couple of minor bumps: we had to order some new transitions because the original ones were the wrong size, and that added a bit of time and extra cost. There was a small bit of accidental damage to a closet wall that wasn’t mentioned at first. But as soon as I pointed it out, Nick was great about it. He apologized and had it fixed right away at no extra cost. So it ended up being no big deal. These hiccups were minor and Nick resolved them professionally, quickly, and with as minimal impact to me as possible. I only call these out as I think it’s unrealistic to expect a project to go perfectly so what matters to me is how challenges are handled. One heads-up for anyone else considering them: if you plan to pay by credit card, just know there’s a fee from the payment processor. I wasn’t aware up front so it caused a wrinkle in my payment plans. Nick was extremely accommodating when I needed extra time to transact and secure payment which I appreciated. All in all, I’m really happy with how the floors turned out, and I’d definitely recommend them. It’s been a few weeks and the floors look and feel fantastic. They did a great job and were easy to work with! I would hire them again and I’ve already recommended them to a friend.
