Did a fantastic job repairing our ceiling! We couldn’t have asked for better. He was extremely communicative and made sure that everything was up to standards. We will definitely be using his services again in the future and recommend to everyone I know.

I took out a window and put in a French door. The French door did not have a screen so I later purchased a French Door screen that the same company assured me would fit based on my receipt from the door. Two different people tried to install the screen and the consensus was the screen was too tall and would not fit. The screen was now pass the return date. I got on the internet looking for help installing a French door screen and added the comment that the screen would need to be "jerry-rigged." Getchell's General Contracting came up. Heath Getchell came out and surveyed the issue/problem. He took his time to understand the problem and provided a solution/option that would allow the screen to work and gave me an estimate. I accepted. He arrived on time. He set up plastic surround so that the wood and sawdust wouldn't get into the house. He was diligent, personable, knowledgeable and thoughtful of property. And his solution based on his experience and expertise worked perfectly. I love, love, love the fact that I can open my French door for air and have a screen to keep bugs, the neighbors cats and any other critter out. I can't say enough positive things about Heath Getchell.

Of course looking at the house as we discussed the French door screen, I realized how dirty and moldy my house was, and seeing the moss on the roof, and l mumbled to myself the next thing I would have to deal with was finding someone to power wash my house/roof. Heath offered. I was concerned because I didn't want holes in my cheap, old siding. Heath assured me he would take care. Sent me a quote and I accepted. Again arrived on time, got to work. He worked hard and of course reminded ne that as he cleaned the roof all the stuff was going into the gutters...yup he offered to clean the gutters also! My house looks good.
To give Heath a physical rest I asked if I could "pick his brain", and with his knowledge and expertise, if he could advise me. Showed him a couple of broken glider chairs that I was hoping could be fixed, church pews that I was hoping could go outside, and what I was hoping to use as a 20 china cup/saucer display. He was gracious, didn't think my ideas were crazy and offered advice, suggestions and/or willingness to help me proceed.
Like I said excellent, positive review. 5 star! Absolute pleasure to work with. And I am sure Heath will be back to deal with the other items we talked about!

Heath quickly became impatient and irritable when a homeowner displayed forgetfulness regarding communications and a scheduled estimate. I’m glad his business is thriving. Unfortunately at Getchell’s General Contracting the consequence of a busy schedule is short-tempered, unkind comments directed at a potential client’s perceived shortcomings. A busy work schedule is a great problem to have in today’s economy but only if a business owner/worker can master gratitude.
Heath, lighten your busy schedule tomorrow. Take an early lunch.
I do not recommend Getchell’s General Contracting, LLC for your small or large home/business projects. You deserve better.

That is very untrue, and I'm sorry that you feel that way. I've tried to accommodate you from day one. You've rescheduled twice once was day before yesterday with a headache? The first time you wanted to save up money anyhow today out of nowhere. You just messaged me with the urgency to get your appointment. I had to remind you that you had an appointment yesterday. And you also asked me not to message you on thumbtack, so I reminded you again. That you canceled your appointment and I reminded you through text messages that you asked me to text you. You then became very fully irritable, because I don't. I told you that you had forgotten all about yesterday and left this horrible message on thumbtack. That is the truth and I have all the text messages in my phone to show. Hope you have a great day and get your fingers.Puppy doors up so your dogs can't run rampant through your house
