I worked out with Ricky for over a year and had amazing improvements! I did strength training on my own before starting with him, but I always struggled with form and mindset. I could get through my movements but tended to cheat myself and minimize my effort. Ricky taught me to feel my muscle groups during each rep and get the most out of my time in the gym.
In the end, I've seen an increase in muscle mass and endurance in addition to an overall positive outlook on what I'm capable of.

Run, don't walk, to start your training with Ricky. Working out with Ricky has changed my mental outlook in several ways. He somehow always gently pushes me forward, challenging me to do my best in a nurturing and empathetic way. Not a drill sergeant, but someone who is compassionate and understands the human body (and mobility) extremely well. He has also taught me to look at my body differently and in a more positive light as we make changes to it, and has quelled all fears every girl has about being "too muscular". Ricky's knowledge and professional attitude is deep and bountiful. It's clear that he has loads of experience, and a thoughtful and methodical approach in training.
Unlike many other trainers (and I have had several) who are pushy or have a very strong personality or opinion and don't quote "hear you", Ricky is clearly a superior in communicating without being pushy or overbearing. In fact, it's superbbly easy to think you're working out with your best friend.
Strongly recommend for all types of clients - those looking to improve strength, increase mobility, or meet specific goals!

Work out sessions have been challenging, but not so hard that I want to quit. We do a new exercise every time, so I stay engaged and challenged. I am having lots of fun and feel great!

Ricky is super easy to work with and a great coach! My girlfriend and I haven’t exercised for a long time and are recently looking to get back into shape - glad we are working with Ricky! He takes the time to understand our strength/weakness and make plans accordingly to give us tiring but fun workouts every time. Highly recommend him no matter what your fitness goal is.
